There’s something about this building that feels very 90s and very Invisible Life-like. Reading E. Lynn Harris’ novels as a young boy, I imagined his characters living and working in buildings like this one. I imagined my life being similar when I grew up.

Origin Story

I was shedding tears in corpse pose right before I looked up from the gymnasium floor and remembered that I was on the right path. Something clicked and I felt the beginning of something beautiful.

There’s a large tree that stands right outside of my apartment. Half of it was broken off in a recent thunderstorm. I hope it recovers because I love that tree. But, from destruction comes inspiration.
